Welcome to the blog from the digital and development teams at the Money Advice Service.
We write about things that we hope will be of interest to anyone who’s involved in making digital products. Whether you care about user research, UX and design, front-end development, backend development, testing, and everything in-between, there should be stories here for you.
We write about the lessons we’ve learnt, the things that went well, the problems we’ve overcome, as well as those things we’re still figuring out.
A bit about us and why we created this blog
We’re an in-house digital and development team who build the moneyadviceservice.org.uk public web site and the tools that sit within the site.
Over the past 6 months we’ve been going through a transformation in terms of how we work, moving to dedicated, multi-disciplined product teams that are more conducive to agile working. As we continue to adapt the way in which we work we’ve been able to introduce new practices that help improve our workflow both from a “process” perspective and technical perspective.
We hope that sharing our experiences amongst a wider community will not only be of interest to you, but will also provide us with an opportunity to learn and evolve what we do and how we do it.
What this blog isn’t
Through this blog we won’t be providing any financial advice or support. However, there’s lots of great advice and tools to help you on the Money Advice Service website. Or alternatively you can speak to one of our advisers.
